Oct 13, 2011, Landgraaf, NL: No one was able to beat our SG riders in this first Parallel Slalom of the season! Roland “Fisch” Fischnaller had the fastest legs, as he wins the race in the “fridge” of Landgraaf. Right after him, there goes Aaron March, teammate from Italy, who also won all his heats, and only was edged out by Fisch. It was a fine result for the SG Teamriders: Strong performance of Patrick Bussler, GER, and Andrey Sobolev, RUS on 6th and 7th place. Also Nevin Galmarini, SUI, Toni Unterkofler, AUT, and the boss Sigi Grabner himself had their first successful appearance in the first WorldCup Finals of this year!

OLYMPIC SNOWBOARDER JUSTIN REITER RETIRING
Thank you Justin! Our SG Pro Team rider Justin Reiter is closing the chapter as one of America’s most successful parallel snowboarding athletes: Olympic snowboarder, 10- time national champion and World Cup winner. Justin is retiring as an athlete but plans to continue his passionate engagement with the sport as a coach.
“This was a hard decision as the 2018 Olympic season is finally here,” said Justin. “But in the end, I just no longer felt the same fire in my heart as I used to. To be the best you have to give your best. I could no longer continue to commit all that I am to the sport I love so much.” Justin, who competed in the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, wrapped up his career as an athlete with an even 100 World Cup starts, scoring four podium finishes. One of the highlights was a World Cup win under the lights in downtown Moscow in 2015 in front of thousands of spectators and a global television audience. He also won a silver medal in parallel slalom at the 2013 World Championships.
He’ll work alongside his own current coaches Erich Pramsohler and Thedo Remmelink working with Michael Trapp, currently the number one ranked American, NorAm Cup champion Robby Burns and Czech Republic athlete Ester Ledecká, a two-time World Champion.

THE CULT – A CARVING BOARD FOR EVERY DAY
The German SG PRO TEAM rider and Double WM-Bronze Winner of 2019 Stefan Baumeister talks about one of his favourite SG snowboards: “I love the CULT because it’s a board for every day. I like the Retro shape and the high versatility of this board. The Cult is really good for carving on hard snow and with the long nose it’s easy to ride in heavy spring snow or in deep powder. So I don’t have to choose in the morning.”

ESTER LEDECKA LOVES THE PODIUM
Returning to snowboard racing for the first time in the current World Cup campaign, Ester Ledecka won second place at her 2019/20 season debut. What an incredible job! She showed how fast she’s able to switch disciplines as she was coming from last weekend’s FIS Alpine Ski World Cup speed event. “It was quite a busy schedule and I only had one day break to get back on snowboard,” said Ester. “Of course I’m very happy with my result here and I would like to thank my team, but also the organisers because they did an amazing job and it was really fun to ride here.” We are so happy! You are awesome!

THIS BOARD IS CULT
THE CULT 2020-21 is featuring the landscape of Hakuba Valley in Japan. Hakuba is a great playground for every snowboarder. It has been the venue of the last years’ RED BULL EDGE funcarving event with Sigi Grabner.
Have you known that the CULT is the favourite snowboard of SG PRO TEAM rider Stefan Baumeister (GER)? “I love the CULT because it’s a board for every day. I like the retro shape and the high versatility of this board. The CULT is really good for carving on hard snow and with the long nose it’s easy to ride in heavy spring snow or in deep powder. So I don’t have to choose in the morning.” – Stefan Baumeister
This board is cult. You try it – you like it. It is absolutely easy to control in all kinds of snow condition and weather. A board you will keep forever, and then maybe pass it on to your kids. 24,5cm waist will allow you ample lift in powder or slush. You ride it with soft or hard stance and it will always make you happy. Easy to ride – but yeah, you can also charge it! Attention!
